About Central California Home and Ranch

Caroline & Corra

Caroline Root

Caroline was born in San Luis Obispo, on the Central Coast of California, and has lived in this state her entire life. She got her start in advertising working for a daily newspaper in Paso Robles, building ads the old-fashioned way—before computers. In 1992, after nearly a decade of working in the social services field, Caroline, along with her husband, Casey, changed directions and started publishing a real estate magazine serving Fresno and Madera counties. After commuting for 2 years from Paso Robles to the Central Valley and Sierra Foothill region, Caroline and her family moved to Coarsegold in 1994.

Having studied sociology and physical science in college, Caroline is a self-taught computer user and graphic designer. Spanish language classes in high school, along with time spent living in Santiago, Chile, as a foreign exchange student, has helped Caroline in her work serving the Spanish-speaking population. Bilingual ability is helpful since the company's customer base has expanded to include clients in Mexico.

As a dedicated mother, and now a grandmother, being with family is a very important part of her life. She looks forward to spending more time with family, and eventually building a log home on the nearly 40 acres she calls home.
